Above all, to hope to win at this game, be sure to know its rules. Material The material is constituted by tokens, an ivory ball, Tokens are used to bet. They represent a sum of money indicated on the token itself. The ivory ball will be used to determine the winning combination. The cylinder is divided into 37 (French or English roulette) or 38 (American roulette) sections. In every section is written a number between 0 and 36 (and also 00 for the American roulette). Every number corresponds to a colour either red or black, or green (only for the numbers 0 and 00).
A French or English roulette cylinder The table allow to deposit the stakes on the various combinations. One particularly finds ther a compartment for each section of the cylinder. The others compartments allow to bet on special combinations.

So if you bet on a hexastich, you have 6 chances to win. In case of success, you win on one hand your stake, on the other a bonus of 5 times the stake. There are a minimal stake and a maximal stake. To be accepted, a stake should be included between the minimal stake and the maximal stake. The minimal stake is variable according to the casino and to the table, but is fixed what ever the combination. The maximal stake is variable according to the casino, to the table and to the combination. |
